How To Root Using Universal Xoom Root

What you need to download and what you need to do?
Let get started!
A. Xoom USB Driver: Download and Install: here
Using original Xoom USB Cable that come with your Xoom is advisable
B. Set Up Easy ADB On Your PC: Need for this process.
1. Download the EasyADB(SDK_tools.zip): here
2. Extract the SDK_tools.zip files
3. Copy the extracted SDK_tools folder
4. Navigate to the root of your PC C: drive
5. Paste SDK_tools folder to the root of your PC C: drive
Note: Ensure USB Debugging is turn "ON/ENABLE" on your Xoom. Settings> Applications> Development> "Tick/Check" USB Debugging
C. Using Universal Xoom Root: You need to have External MicroSD Card
Download this Universal Xoom Root v1.0 File and place it on your External MicroSD Card: here
*Note: DO NOT EXTRACT THIS Root.zip file.
D. Download this recovery image(recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img) and place it in the "SDK_tools folder" at your PC C:drive: here
E. Once the neccessary file in place: You can start your the process [Installing Recovery and Rooting]
Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
Once command prompt pop up,type:
cd C:\SDK_tools
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot reboot
After reboot ensure your USB debugging is enable. Settings> Applications> Development> "Tick/Check" USB Debugging
Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
Once command prompt pop up,type:
cd C:\SDK_tools
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img
Once you have verification on your device that this has been flashed:
- Reboot your device by holding Volume Up + Power.
- Then 3 seconds after you see the "Motorola logo", hit Volume Down.
You should now see "Android Recovery" at the top left corner.
- Hit Volume Up to boot/enter into recovery.
Navigate to "install zip from sdcard"
-> "Choose zip from sdcard",
-> then select the Xoom-Universal-Root.zip file that you had downloaded/placed in External MicroSDcard earlier and flash it.
-> Reboot and Enjoy!
Note: Use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select/enter.

- then select the Custom ICS.zip file that you had downloaded/placed in External MicroSDcard earlier and flash it
- then select the Gapps and flash it
- Reboot and Enjoy!

Once command prompt pop up,type:
cd C:\SDK_tools
adb reboot bootloader
>>>> Xoom will then reboot into bootloader screen
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock
Use volume rocker to select ok and then xoom will reboot.
At this point you should be back to a factory state which includes being locked and unrooted.

Using original Xoom USB Cable that come with your Xoom is advisable
B. Set Up Easy ADB On Your PC: Need for this process.
